About Us

A.R. Action-Reaction Goaltending continues to grow and is determined and committed to providing consistent, high quality Goaltender Development its present and future clients.

A.R. Action-Reaction Goaltending was officially founded in 2009 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, by owner and head instructor Adam Russo.

While in B.C., Adam was hired by multiple goalie development programs to assist with their summer programs while growing its own client base and providing them with private and group instruction.

ARG has since moved to Eastern Ontario, where it quickly grew into one of the most popular goalie development programs in the area. In it’s 10+ years in the region, Adam has been in charge of goalie development for The Ontario Hockey Academy where he takes care of over 15 goalies from around the world, who persue opportunities in Junior, College and pro hockey. The company has also been the choice of over 10 other minor hockey association yearly in the area.

As for travelling, ARG has also been hired to provide goalie development for the Voltigeurs du Collège Bourget in Rigaud, Quebec, for Hockey Canada at the IIHF World Junior Championship development camp in Brossard, Quebec, for FCA Hockey in Minnesota, for the St Lawrence Saints NCAA D1 Female program, among others. Owner and head instructor Adam Russo was also the goalie coach for the Hawkesbury Hawks Jr. A and U18 program for 7 years until he left for other opportunities in 2021. ARG has provided development in multiple cities in the USA and Europe where Adam played professionally throughout his career and continues to offer programs in those areas when we can.

ARG has now expanded to COCHRANE, ALBERTA where COACH ADAM is now living. He will build another amazing branch of ARG while making sure his incredible staff in Ontario maintain a top notch service that has been going strong for over a decade.

Our Philosophy

Coach Russo knows the importance of making up for size by excelling in Awareness,quickness, playing big, and being smart with the puck.

"My goal is to bring what I have learned throughout my career, what I know and use in my game today, and what I see first-hand at the level I play, to my goaltenders, and prepare them for that next step. I have always been hungry to succeed and I have never given up, nor will I ever, and I think that makes me someone that can help people succeed. My philosophy is simple, you can have fun, work hard, and succeed all at the same time, but you have to have that drive and hunger to be the best.
That is what I want and ask of anyone that steps on the ice with me."
