Action-Reaction Goaltending (ARG) was founded in 2009 in Vancouver, Canada, by Adam Russo. While in B.C., Adam also assisted with various goalie development programs during the summer while expanding his own client base. ARG later relocated to Eastern Ontario and quickly became a leading goalie development program in the area. Over the past 10+ years, Adam served as the head of goalie development at The Ontario Hockey Academy, coaching 15+ goalies per year from around the world aiming for Junior, College, and professional hockey opportunities. ARG was also the choice for goalie development of over 10 minor hockey associations annually in the region.
ARG has provided goalie development for programs like the Voltigeurs du Collège Bourget in Quebec, Hockey Canada at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship development camp, FCA Hockey in Minnesota on multiple occasions, and the St Lawrence Saints NCAA D1 Female program, among others. Coach Adam was the goalie coach for the Hawkesbury Hawks Jr. A and U18 program for 7 years before pursuing new opportunities in 2021. ARG has offered development in several U.S. and European cities where Adam played professionally and continues to provide programs in those areas.
ARG has now expanded to Cochrane, Alberta, where Coach Adam resides. He is working to establish a new branch of ARG while ensuring that his excellent Ontario staff continues to deliver top-quality service, which has thrived for over a decade.
