Dylan Grew up in Cochrane Alberta and played his Minor hockey through the Cochrane/Airdrie AA and AAA Programs. After some Junior stints he decided to come home and play for the Cochrane Generals at the end of his playing career, winning 2 consecutive championships with the team in 07/08 and 08/09. Dylan had first coaching job 18 years ago in 2007 when he was the assistant/goaltending coach for the U13 AA Timberwolves. After finishing his playing career Dylan got back into coaching in 2012 as the Cochrane Generals Goalie Coach until 2017. In 2018 he was hired on with the U16 AAA AC Avalanche as well as the U15 AAA Airdrie Xtreme as their full time Goalie Coach. Dylan spent 4 years with the Avalanche and 5 with the Xtreme and was part of the Provincial championship team in 2022/23. Dylan has 10 years’ experience working with goalies in a one-on-one setting at all ages and skill levels, as well as in a team setting getting the highest performance from a goaltender through practices and in game coaching. Using the aid of video coaching has also been one of the tools used frequently by Dylan. He has also worked with various academies and clinics with experience in running goaltending camps for beginners up to Elite Prospect camps. Dylan prides himself on being a detail-oriented coach that can tailor performance based on each individuals skill set or need. Breeding a winning culture or attitude whether it be in an individual or team setting is something very important to Dylan. Making Great people and Great goaltenders!
