Tanya Disotell

Elite instructor

Tanya Disotell is a dedicated goaltender from Cornwall, Ontario, with a lifelong passion for the game. Her competitive hockey journey began at Ontario Hockey Academy, where she first connected with Coach Adam in 2017. From the beginning, Adam played a pivotal role in her development—both on and off the ice—helping guide her toward her dream of playing post-secondary hockey.

That dream became a reality when Tanya was offered the opportunity to play college hockey in Alberta at Red Deer Polytechnic, where she also pursued a Science Degree. During her collegiate career, Tanya was a key part of a highly successful program, helping lead her team to back-to-back ACAC championships. Through every step of her journey, Adam remained a trusted mentor—providing expert goaltending insight, personalized feedback, and mental performance coaching that helped Tanya elevate her game.

Known for her calm demeanor and mental toughness, Tanya credits Adam’s guidance for helping her stay composed under pressure, especially during high-stakes moments. Whether it was a text before a championship game or a video review session, his support consistently boosted her confidence and sharpened her focus.

Now a proud member of the Action Reaction Goaltending team in Alberta, Tanya is excited to share her experience, knowledge, and passion with the next generation of goalies. She is committed to mentoring young athletes with the same level of care and dedication that shaped her own path—fostering not only great goaltenders but great people.
